Rosas Maschinenbau GmbH

Rosas Maschinenbau GmbH, in partnership with Graph-Tech USA (GTUS), will demonstrate high-performance solutions in label and booklet inspection, inkjet printing, and high-speed RFID technology.

The Rosas Leopard 300 tabletop rewinder will demonstrate advanced RFID capabilities with an optical inspection system, high-speed RFID encoding, and a printing station. It offers adjustable web tension, a maximum web width of 254 mm, unwind and rewind diameters up to 520 mm, an integrated splicing table, and speeds of up to 300 m/min.

This end-to-end solution encodes and verifies RFID tags at high speeds, setting new standards for efficiency and precision. The system integrates the RFID Xplorer Inline from CISC, which is designed to efficiently encode, test, and lock data on RFID labels in a single, streamlined process.

An important advancement within this process is serialized RFID label encoding and printing. Unlike standard RFID tags that identify only product types, serialization involves writing a unique identification number (UID) to each RFID chip and, often simultaneously, printing it onto the label surface. This creates a digital and physical marker for each unit, allowing automatic and manual traceability throughout production, logistics, and retail.

Serialized RFID labels offer numerous advantages: full product traceability, real-time inventory visibility, and added protection against counterfeiting. They also support faster logistics operations by enabling rapid, error-free identification of individual units. For data-driven production environments, serialization provides a valuable layer of intelligence for supply chain analysis and process optimization.

Rosas Maschinenbau’s RFID systems are engineered with integrated quality control to verify both the encoding and printing results. They support a wide range of label materials, provide customizable printing options for barcodes, variable data, and graphics, and can be integrated into existing production lines or operated as standalone machines.

Seamless connectivity with ERP and inventory management systems ensures that serialized data flows reliably from production to digital tracking platforms.

At Labelexpo Europe, Rosas will also present its Gazelle digital printer, demonstrating high-quality label imprinting, integrated with the GTUS eZ-Inkjet 54 mm, 600×600 DPI high-resolution printer. The compact system delivers powerful all-in-one printing with adjustable web tension, a 254 mm max web width, unwind/rewind diameters of 520 mm, and speeds up to 500 m/min.

Making its debut at Labelexpo is the Viper 750 tabletop rewinder, specially designed to celebrate Rosas Maschinenbau’s 25th anniversary. It features a 4K AI-based optical inspection system, adjustable web tension, 254 mm max web width, 520 mm unwind/rewind diameters, an integrated splicing table, and an impressive top speed of up to 750 m/min.

Yes, multi-lane capability.  You can now encode/print/inspect RFID labels up to 6 lanes at a time with speeds up to 60 meters/min (200 FPM).  Or, if you are starting with smaller volumes, choose a 2 lane system which is future-expandable to 6 lanes.  The EZ RFID will grow as your success in the RFID market creates the need for expansion.

The Tamarack MVW RFID Insertion System empowers label converters with unmatched speed, precision, and scalability. Engineered for flexibility, the MVW effortlessly supports production volumes from a single lane to six lanes—making it the ideal solution for both short runs and high-capacity operations.

Built with the label converter in mind, the MVW features an intuitive operator interface that ensures a smooth and quick transition from initial installation to full-scale production. Its modular architecture allows seamless integration inline with press or as a standalone unit with advanced reinsertion capabilities for printed webs.

The MVW handles both wet and dry inlays with ease and offers extensive customization options such as overlaminationunderlamination, transfer tape integration, hot melt coating, multiple die-cut stations, ticket/tag dual-web coating capabilities, and slitting/rewinding as you’d expect to finish your product on a traditional flexo press.  The “M” in MVW stands for modular—and it truly is!

Your operators will feel right at home on the MVW because, with a legacy of over 55 years in the printing industry, Tamarack knows your real-world production environment and its challengesPut Tamarack to work for you!

For over 20 years, we’ve been leading the development of industrial automated solutions for the converting and encoding of RFID tags. Our approach is practical and results-driven: we deliver technologies that guarantee precision, speed, and absolute quality—now chosen by major German companies for their strategic productions, thanks to the extreme ease of use of our machines.

ZERO RFID W serie3 1024x576

Our technology platform covers most of the RFID label and smart product manufacturing process: RFID converting of wet and dry inlays, RFID encoding, variable data overprinting, and quality assurance. Our RFID converting machines operate up to 120 m/min while maintaining consistent dispensing accuracy down to ±0.2 mm (in live electronically verified through inspection systems), even in high-volume production, both single-lane or multi-lane. This makes us a trusted partner for companies seeking top industrial performance without compromising final product quality.

CISC integration HW web

Thanks to our new partnership with CISC — an industry leader in RFID performance testing systems — we integrate advanced capabilities for evaluating each chip’s performance, fully  integrated in our user interface to allow the best usability through a single control panel. The plug & play solution adopted allows to pass from UHF to HF / NFC productions very quickly reducing machine downtime.

At the core of our RFID encoding machines there is the ZEROTM process — a patented technology that guarantees a 100% compliant finished product, even in the case of defective chips, encoding errors, or variable data printing issues. Developed since 1999, it is now in its 5th generation. The ZERO process detects errors, manage all automatically, and rebuilds the encoding cycle ensuring flawless output regardless of the operator.

Our ZERO RFID machines take their name from the machine process and, since 2004, have been the best solution on the market for the RFID encoding and personalisation of any RFID product manufactured on reels.
